The bakery area in the farm shop has a huge selection of local made cakes, flat breads, sponges, teacakes and tarts. We are supplied by Wesses Bakehouse which is situated 500 metres down the road and delivers fresh baked bread twice a day.
Large and small loaves, sliced and unsliced are available in white, brown, nutty, seeded and wholemeal.
Hambleton Bakery supply us every morning with traditional artisan bread baked fresh that morning in their Exton bakery. This traditional bread is made using a small amount of yeast and long fermentation periods which makes it a healthy option free from additives and preservatives.
Local ladies bake a range of different sponge cakes, cupcakes, slices and cookies. These are complimented by the wonderful selection of savoury snacks and biscuits.
Walking past the cake table its hard to resist!
